The Copper Queens preparations for the 2022 AWCON continues with the All stars vs the rest coming alive this morning.
Coach Bruce Mwape’s lasses comes up against the Charles Haalubono coached the rest squad in a preparatory match.
A group of top performers from the league has been assembled and will go up against the Copper Queens in a bid to audition for places in the main team.
Star Midfielder Evarine Susan Katongo is expected to pull the strings in midfield for the Queens.
Ochumba Oseke Lubanji is expected to lead the line with the support Siomala Mapepa and Avell Chitundu.
Green Buffaloes’ exciting forward Natasha Nanyangwe offers an alternative for Mwape’s side.
Lushomo Mweemba, Martha Tembo, Margaret Mulenga and Anita Mulenga are likely to make up the back four.
Key players from the rest squad include Maweta Glory Chilenga, Lilian Mwaba, Regina Kayamboma, Judith Zulu and Enelesi Phiri.
Kick-off at Edwin Imboela Stadium will be at 10:00hours and the match will be streamed live on the FAZ Facebook page. Entry at Imboela stadium will be free of charge.
Sunday’s match is part of preparations for the 2022 Africa Women’s Cup of Nations (AWCON).
The Confederation of African football will conduct draws for the 2022 AWCON in Morocco on 29th April.
