Copper Princesses arrive in  Lubumbashi ahead of U17 World Cup Qualifier second leg 

The Zambia Women’s U17 National Team took a short bus ride into Lubumbashi ahead of the second leg of their FIFA  Women’s World Cup Morocco 2026 qualifying tie.

The Coach Carol Kanyemba coached side arrived on Thursday afternoon. 

Zambia carries a 5-0 advantage from the first leg played on 23rd May at the Levy Mwanawasa Stadium in Ndola. 

The return fixture is scheduled for 31st May at Stade Frederick Kibasa Maliba in Lubumbashi.

Zambia will be aiming to complete the job away from home and secure a place in the third qualifying round. 

The winner on aggregate will face the victor between Ethiopia and Burundi.

The Copper Princesses are eying a third straight qualification to the World Cup having qualified to the last two editions.
