Chipolopolo midfielder Clatous Chota Chama was voted as the best midfielder of the season in Tanzania for his performance in the 2020/2021 season before his switch to Moroccan outfit, RS Berkane.
The awards were held at the Julius Nyerere International Conference center (JNICC), Yesterday. Simba CEO Barbara Gonzalez received the award on his behalf.

Chama beat off competition from Mukoko Tomombe and Feisal Salum. The Chipolopolo midfield ace however lost out on the player of the season accolade to former teammate John Bocco.
Chama had the best goal contribution of any player in the 2020/2021 Tanzania Vodacom League with 15 assists and eight goals (23).
