Newly appointed Nkana FC coach Aggrey Chiyangi says he is aware of the challenge ahead coaching a big team like Nkana which has a huge fan base across the country.
Chambeshi who paid tribute to former Nkana coach Beston Chambeshi thanked Nkana FC for the appointment as well as his former employers Zanaco.
“For now the first thing is we have to accept Nkana has not been doing fine,” Chiyangi said.
“I would not want take away anything from what Beston Chambeshi has done at this club, he is a good coach, he has done everything he could but that’s football. At times you can do everything but it doe not work out.”
“I know the expectations are high but I know what Nkana is. The supporters have a passion for the club, their club is at heart.”
Chiyangi was this week appointed Nkana FC coach taking over from Quick Silver Beston Chambeshi. He will be assisted by Zeddy Saileti.

@paradox: ZAMBIA should rather be embarrassed & not Ghana. This is our tournament & Ghana are just invitees. As defending champions we have more at stake than Ghana who do not attach much importance to this our cup. How many of the real Black Stars featured in the game? NONE. Doesn’t that tell u they are not too keen on this our bogus tournament? Be serious, paradox & stop whining about matters of no importance. Instead of using this forum for fruitful discussions, we are turning Zamfoot to settle scores. How does that help us. Let us waste our energy & resources into finding ways of improving our game.
Coaching is a funny career
I wonder if Aggrey Chiyangi will last at Nkana…
