Red Arrows coach Chisi Mbewe can join the national team.
Chisi is one of the coaches alongside Numba Mumamba being considered to drill a locally assembled squad at the 2024 Cosafa Cup as Zambia eye for a third straight title.
There were concerns that Red Arrows’ involvement in Cecafa Cup might clash with the Cosafa Cup but that will not be the case.
The dates for Cecafa Challenge Cup have been moved.
The tournament will start on July 9, 2 days after the Cosafa Cup final.

“As a club, we will never stand in Chisi’s way. National team takes precedence,” a Red Arrows official told the ZamFoot Crew.
“Let’s say the dates were crashing. We would still allow him to join the national team. We still have a capable assistant in Kalililo [Kakonje].
According to Football House sources, FAZ want to expose more local coaches to international and reports indicate that Kabwe Warriors coach Numba Mumanga is expected to lead the Zambian technical bench at Cosafa.

Chisi might also be roped in after this clarification.
Chisi led the airmen to a league and cup double last season.
This was Chisi’s second league title in 3 years at Nkoloma Stadium.
