BETWAY Premiership side Chippa United have confirmed the departure of Zambian forward Enock Sakala Jnr from the club.
The Chili Boys have part ways with 15 players which includes the former ZESCO United forward and former Orlando Pirates and Mamelodi Sundowns midfielder Andile Jali.
Others who do not form part of the side’s plans going forward include Darren Johnson, Lukhanyo July, Justice Chabalala, Samkelo Jali, Baraka Majogoro, Athenkosi Dlala, Ronald Sanou, Craig Martin, Ronald Maarman, Thobani Jacobs, Sifiso Mazibuko, Aviwe Mqokozo, and Bienvenu Eva Nga.
Chippa has also confirmed that three players who were on loan have returned to their parent clubs after the conclusion of their loan deals.
These are Aphelele Teto, Siphelo Baloni, and Sonwabile Khumalo.
Sakala joined Chippa United in February on a short term deal after leaving Modern Sport in Egypt.
Sakala scored 12 goals in the 2023/2024 MTN Super League season and helped Zesco United to qualify for the CAF confederation Cup before departure for Egypt.
