National team head coach Sven Vandenbroek this morning led national team players to the Gabon disaster air crash site in Libreville.
In 1993, Zambia lost the entire National team in a plane crash that took place off the coast of Gabon.
The last time a Zambian footbal squad visited the site was when the 2012 Africa Cup winning side arrived in Libreville from Equatorial Guinea ahead of the final which Zambia won when they beat Ivory Coast on post match penalties.
The team leaves Gabon today at 12:20 local time and is expected to arrive in Lusaka on Thursday morning at 01:20
Yesterday the Copper Bullets beat Gabon by a single goal scored by Justin Shonga in an international friendly.

Put a football school and hotel there. I am talking to FIFA.
The Zambian Government could put a hotel and a memorial there.
All they do is suspend people.
Rubbish stuff
