The Chipolopolo Boys will leave for South Africa this morning ahead of Saturday’s international friendly match against Bafana Bafana.
The Copper Bullets will engage the world cup bound Bafana Bafana on Saturday before proceeding to Luanda for the second friendly match against the Palancas Negras of Angola.
Coach Moses Sichone is expected to unveil his final squad ahead of the trip to South Africa.
Power Dynamos players have been exempted from the Bafana Bafana game while ZESCO United players will be exempted from the second match because of the two teams involvement in the CAF inter clubs tournaments.
Zambia and South Africa will lock horns on Saturday at Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium in Gqeberha at 15h00.
The two matches will be used as part of preparations for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations set for Morocco next month.
The TotalEnergies CAF Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON), Morocco 2025 will take place between 21st December 2025 and 18th January 2026.
Zambia is in Group A alongside hosts Morocco, West African giants Mali, and Comoros.
The 2012 AFCON winners returned to the tournament last year after an eight year absence but were booted out in the group stage.
