Zambia will play Congo DR in the semi-finals of the 2016 CHAN tournament should the Chipolopolo overcome Guinea in the quarter final match to be played on Sunday.
This is after DRC the 2009 champions shook off a fierce challenge from the hosts with a 113th minute goal from Mpunga after the game ended 1 – 1 on 90 minutes.
DRC scored as early as the 12th minute before Rwanda equalized and pushed the game to the visitors.
Zambia and Congo DR last met 12 months ago on 18th January at the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations in a match which ended 1 – 1.
That being very optimistic. Lets take one game at a time.
Kikikikikikiki lol
We can not avoid any team @ this stage, DRC are a good side who could cause upset for Chipolopolo, we need to be good and finish our chances created. Zambia is a good side also technically its punch on punch. We need to switch on @ all times.
An upset Vs DR Congo you are joking mune. Zaire once beat Zambia 10-1 on their way to their first World cup appearence (1974 World Cup Q mune))
Lukanga from the Luba Lunda Empire of the Mwata Kazembe)

We cant fear DRC they hv struggled to beat Rwanda, we wil beat them this time.
Eh, this headline. You guys can’t be serious? Why not wait until after the Guinea game. You want that Nigerian fan to come back and laugh at us
@+ve,on a lighter note u overslept, you pepo won by 2goals to 1.My worry is the immediate blogger above u,’that DRC struggled to beat Rwanda, like seriously, did he watch the game exhaustively at all?greetings.
My brother, I don’t know. I’m guessing since the game went into extra time. One can assume that DRC struggled. From what I saw the DRC team looks to be very potent, especially their ability to get in good crosses, and with Zambia struggling on the fullbacks this team cannot be taken lightly
Kkkkkk yaba kutambakofye,

@zamfoot you should be mor3 professional with your headlines as ZAMBIA HAS NOT YET DEFEATED GUINEA but here you people are talking about semi with that pathetic strike force up front,no dis to chris but his time is long gone…zambia stop your mediocracy, take game by game and focus on guinea. P.S zambia better beat guinea other wise your site will be flooded by west africans teasing your medioracy..
Dangerous guinea…. Those guys are difficult to beat!
Zambia 1 Guinea 0
Zamfoot; change the headline for crying out loud. Mulefwaya ukutu sebanya. You know this will just bring a whole lot of trouble should we lose to Guinea, which is a possibility by the way
Our God is able chipolopolo keep on rising our flag high.God is on our side let Zambians be positive this is our time the chan cup is coming home.
I thought God was for everybody or was I mistaken? Mixing religion with sports is just abit much. Praying to win, yes that’s fair, saying God is on your side…don’t know about that one.
we wil beat guinea today & let the wailers start wailing b4 the game becoz at the end of the game they wil disappear.
go! zambia go! we are behind u boys! we wil beat guinea
Let´s wait and see.
I’ve seen this same thing happen in 1996. Everyone thought we were going to trample all over Tunisia, only to be rudely awakened to the reality that football is an unforgiving sport.
And that team that lost in 1996 was probably one of the very best ever assembled. So lets approach this game with caution. Lets not mistake complacency with confidence. Also think about the pressure you are placing on the teams shoulders. One game at a time, that’s how you win tournaments.
@ positive ,
I dont usually agree with your coments but for this particular one, I totaly agree
We haven’t beaten Guinea yet. Lets concentrate on the Guinea game first. We thinking to far ahead.
Yaba this headline. Smdh
