The Chipolopolo will this afternoon (Friday) host Chad in a Group G Morocco 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier at the Levy Mwanawasa Stadium.
Both sides will be looking to get maximum points to fortify their campaign ahead of Tuesday’s reverse fixture in Yaoundé.
Coach Avram Grant and his technical bench will be looking to build on their match day two home win over Sierra Leone although Les Sao may pose a different challenge.
The Copper Bullets held their final training session at the Levy Mwanawasa Stadium in Ndola on Thursday afternoon with coach Avram Grant and his technical bench running the rule on the lads before facing Chad.
Chad coach Kevin Pacaise will be looking to the experience of Kuwait based Casimir Ninga and the local resource of Zesco United striker Amine Hiver to unlock the Chipolopolo defence.
Skipper Marius Mouandilmadji of Turkish outfit Samsunspor will also be one of the threats in the Les Sao set up.
The Chipolopolo know that a victory will give them enough confidence ahead of the reverse fixture on Tuesday. Skipper Clatous Chama will have to inspire the largely youthful Zambia side to victory on home soil.
Frankie Chisenga Musonda is expected to return to the set up after missing the loss to Ivory Coast and win over Sierra Leone.
Klings Kangwa is expected to join Chama in midfield with Miguel Chaiwa while Benedict Chepeshi will most likely continue at right back.
Kennedy Musonda is likely to lead the attack in the absence of injured Patson Daka.
Youngsters Joseph Sabobo Banda and Chipyoka Songa could be given a chance to make their mark this afternoon.
Other youngsters available for selection are Cadiz FC striker Francisco Mwepu and Cagliari Calcio forward Kingston Mutandwa.
The fans will no doubt provide a crucial say in the atmosphere at the Levy Mwanawasa Stadium at 15:00 hours.
Tickets for the match are being sold across Shoprite outlets via Computicket with the prices being K40 (North & South), K50 (East), K150 (West) and K500 (VIP).
Ivory Coast leads Group G with six points while Zambia lies second with three points while Chad and Sierra Leone have a point each.
Top two teams in each group will qualify to the Morocco 2025 Africa Cup of Nations.
