Chipolopolo off to Morocco for Niger match

The Chipolopolo Boys have left for Morocco aboard a chartered Ethiopian Airlines.

Zambia will face Niger in Marrekech on Tuesday in a Group E match day two FIFA 2026 World Cup qualifier.

The team left Ndola’s Simon Mwansa Kapwepwe International Airport on Saturday and expected to arrive in North Africa in the early hours of Sunday.

Zambia coach Avram Grant will then take his boys for a loosening session later on a Sunday.

On Monday, they will have feel of the match venue.

Zambia are currently top of Group E with 3 points following a 4-2 win over Congo on Sunday.

Niger is one of the six African countries who have settled for Morocco after their stadium failed to pass a strict CAF test.

  2. The defense is worrisome. Especially 3 position( back left). Absence of Frankie Musonda was felt, it’s a pity he is injured. Striking and midfield not bad though I feel there is a little bit of work to be in the midfield
