Chipolopolo in final preparatory match

A full strength Zambia national team will be in action this morning taking on lower tier side K-Stars at the National Heroes Stadium in Lusaka.

This will be the final preparatory match before Honour Janza names the final team that will travel to Niger tomorrow.

Unlike the shambolic travel which the team was subjected to when the played Cape Verde, the team has been assured that the chartered plane will leave Zambia on Thursday.

  1. Its only the front line we are lucking, let the captain play 8 with young star sate sate to play 10 jacob 9,emphasize on rsinfords offside traps its killing our chances let him watch that line please we beg.

  2. wat happened to ths site?we were starved of updates.nw bk to business, wats ur best lineup,guys,4 Niger game?we nid an outright win there.no two ways abt it.

  3. I concur with the sentiments that the team should have played a more formidable Premier League side instead of playing K-Stars everyday. I thought this is the same team that was last week clobbered 0-8 by the mainly locally-based players. What improvement could they have made between last week and now to warranty another game?
On the appointment of Nico as one of the assistants to Janza, this seems to be a positive but belated move by FAZ although Nico is more of an academy coach than a coach who can coach at national team level. His credentials at this level are blurred. It will also be interesting see how Nico will work under Janza given the fact that Janza is a former student of Nico.
We started talking about strengthening the technical bench the day Janza was appointed coach but FAZ did not react until after being directed to do so by Minister Kambwili.

  4. True, it could have made more sense playing against the current league leaders who if not mistaken should be Power Dynamos. Only a strong team can expose your weaknesses.
Good development that the technical bench has been beefed now we want positive results in Niger …by the way the old site was better than what we have now but i guess half a bread is better than none. Good luck Guys!!

  5. It would appear the new Zamfoot blog is still being developed as one may infer from the fact that the Menu is still blank. May be we should wait and see how the new site will look like once completed.

  6. This is not good website Zamfoot. Bring back the “old” site, we liked it better.
