Chipolopolo get down to work ahead of World Cup qualifiers

The Zambia National Team on Friday got down to work as part of their preparations for the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 qualifiers as the first group of players reported to Nkoloma stadium for their first training session.

Coach Beston Chambeshi had the majority of the 30-member provisional squad that he has summoned for the first camp ahead of next month’s FIFA World Cup qualifier matches against Mauritania and Tunisia.

The Copper Bullets will have a friendly match with Chisi Mbewe’s Airmen this morning at Nkoloma Stadium.

The Chipolopolo Boys will face Mauritania on September 1st and Tunisia on September 5th in the Qatar 2022 World Cup qualifiers.

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) will have five representatives at Qatar 2022 FIFA World Cup. Only group winners of the ten groups will qualify to the final round where they will be drawn into five home-and-away ties. The winners of each tie will advance to the World Cup.
