Chipolopolo Friday night left Hotel Lalla Aini in Tizi Ouzou for Algiers, where they will board a chartered flight direct to Ndola.
The team left the hotel at about 00:10 hours and was expected to depart Algiers Airport at around 03:00 hours.
Chipolopolo are scheduled to arrive on the Copperbelt around midday on Saturday, September 26, 2026.
The team began its 2027 AFCON qualifying campaign on Friday night with a 3-1 defeat to hosts Algeria in a Group I encounter at the Hocine Aït Ahmed Stadium in Tizi Ouzou.
Chipolopolo will now turn their attention to the next assignment which is against Togo on Tuesday, September 29, as they return home to prepare for the second Group I fixture.
FAZ Vice-President Mutale Ngandu is leading the delegation, accompanied by General Secretary Charles Chakatazya.
