In all fairness I think the most caped players like Chris Katongo shud give chance to the younger ones,e.g Kalengo that’s if he will b around,why? Because these young ones have somthin to play for other than the old guns,we really need a motivated team to take us to greater heights.
The problem with our young players they are not consistance, example is bruce musakanya and jimmy chisenge were are they now? we were told that we are bulding the team for the future but they have failed to be consistance. that’s why the inclusion of chris katongo won’t be a bad ideal
In as much as Chris should go to chan this tournament I want to STRESS this is the tournament to produce the new chipololpolo. Let it be a tournament for talent identification.
We should focus on youth development with a bit of experience.
Let Kalengo join 2nd division in Europe or PSL not Sundowns off course. He does not fit in ZSL. He also make a mistake to sign for TP Mazembe
Our league is strong and the only way to prove it is at CHAN .only the top brass need to prove their worth. kalengo ,chris muntali ,jacob b,conlyde etc. must prove their seriousness in CHAN if they want to be afcon champions and world cup debuntants.maybe cosafa can be used for talent identification.
@germiston south it wont be possible for zesco fc to let go kalengo as they are in the champions league next year.
Kalengo is not getting any younger… If a good opportunity comes up for him to move it wouldn’t be fair if Zesco blocked his way just because they’re in champions league.
I think zesco united should hold on to kalengo because of the champion league let him make a name in Africa with zesco united I think TP mazembe can be the best pratform for him another club is orlando pirates in SA and some north African clubs like zamalek esparance and Al hili in egypt.

Wait a minute, what ever happens in SENEGAL With the U23 team ,We need to build on it. send the U23 team to CHAN WITH 5 or so senior local players. That is the way to go to build a new Chipolopolo of the future.
I can’t agree more with you Frank Nonde from Gabs. As for Luchanga, let him not rush to sign for for any club outside. Let him play one more season in Zambia. If he has to move, let him move within Zambia to a team that will give him more competition otherswise I believe Zambia will play in the final.

Players of the Black Stars team are demanding a winning bonus of $15,000 each, according to reports in the media.
Report are rife that the players have asked management to increase their bonuses from $10,000 to $15,000.
The Ministry of Sports has already made its intention to slash the bonuses of the team from $10,000 to $5,000 which has not gone down well with the players.
And also it is reported that the team is yet to receive their winning bonuses for their victory over Rwanda in the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier.
