Eastern Province 2020/2021 Women’s League Champions Chipata Girls Football Club are off to Lusaka for the national League playoffs to be played between 21st to 23rd August 2021.
Chipata Girls are nicknamed Ndife Tiliko Che and were unstoppable last season in the Province winning the league unbeaten.
The team prepared well for the National League playoffs and the technical bench is confident of bringing the women’s National league to the Province. The team is made up of young talented players which can deliver at the National level.
Eastern region had their first-ever women’s League last season with 14 teams participating in the league and Chipata Girls Football has crowned Champions of the Province after finishing in the first position.
It’s safe to say Ndife Tiliko Che Girls have made the Province proud and they are wishing them to have a good and successful tournament in Lusaka as they represent the Region.
The tournament will consist of eight teams from different provinces and the Eastern will be presented by Chipata Girls Football Club, Lusaka will be represented by Green Eagles FC, Central will be presented by Prison Leopards FC, North Western will be represented by Solwezi Academy, Southern Province will be represented by Choma Warriors, Western will be represented by Namushakende Queens, Copperbelt has sent Kitwe Girls FC while Northern will be represented by Mpaji Queens.
From the eight teams, only four teams will be promoted to the National women’s League for the 2021/2022 season.
