A Zambia select side will take part in the 2025 Gothia Cup- The World Youth Cup, as Chiparamba the ZamFoot Crew understands.
Players from Kafue Celtic and Sporting Lusaka make up the bulk of the Chiparamba team. The tournament will accommodate players born in 2008.
Kafue Celtic have contributed players like midfielder Nthasilwe Malupande, striker Caleb Musonda, Clever Kavungu, Nelson Chilemu and, defender Emmanuel Mbuti.
Sporting Lusaka have contributed defender Blessings Sinyangwe, midfield workhorse Darius Musonda and midfield ace Victor Simazuwo
Other players are Donald Chulu from BUSA, Joseph Zulu of Nangweshi Pirates, Wiseman Nyirenda of Billy Pro Sports, Timothy Mandu and Vincent Malekani from Chawama United.
Gothia Cup – The World Youth Cup, that will take place from July 13th to July 19th, 2025, at Valhalla IP and Heden in the city of Gothenburg, Sweden.
The Gothia Cup bound team on Friday afternoon played to a goalless draw with the Zambia U17 National team that will take part in the 2025 COSAFA U20 Championship at the Region V Games in Windhoek, Namibia.
Victor Simazuwo and Nthasilwe Malupande impressed in midfield for the Gothia Cup team while James Sibeene, Robert ‘Sugar Sugar’ Banda and Mapalo Simute were impressive for the COSAFA U17 team.
