Chilumba, Kabwe Warriors part ways

Zambia Super League side Kabwe Warriors have part ways with Head coach Tenant Chilumba.

According to a Communiqué from the club which was made available to the ZamFoot Crew, Warriors have decided not to renew Chilumba’s contract.

Assistant coach Levy ‘Chabby’ Chabala will take charge of the team in the interim capacity with immediate effect.

“Kabwe Warriors, a Club in the Zambian Super League, has announced that it has taken the option not to renew the contract of Head Coach, Tenant Chilumba. Levi Suzi Chabala will take the role of Head Coach on an interim basis with immediate effect.”

The Club has thanked ‘TC’ for his services in the two years he was at the helm of the Magnificent People’s team and brought Kabwe Warriors to the brink of league success and continental qualification in the 2019 transitional league.

ZamFoot Crew sources indicate that Chilumba is headed to Ndola to join Forest Rangers following the departure of Perry Mutapa and Masauso Tembo who have since joined Kitwe based outfit Power dynamos.

    Why successful coaches come back to Zambia? Look at Kaindu, he was a superstar in Zimbabwe, now is finished in Zambia.
