2017 Barclays cup finalists Napsa Stars have aettled for Elijah Chikwanda as their new head coach. The club announced the appointment of Chikwanda through a press statement issued by club media and public relations officer Gwen Mulundu Chipasula and made available to Zambianfootball.co.zm
Napsa Stars Football Club has appointed Mr. Elijah Chikwanda as its new head Coach.
Napsa have settled for the former Kabwe Warriors boss mainly for the experience that he brings to the table.
Mr. Chikwanda brings a wealth of experience to the Club having had coaching stints in Botswana and also coached Lusaka Dynamos, Nkwazi and Kabwe warriors Football clubs respectively.
Chikwanda has been given a performance based contract.
“Napsa Stars believe Coach Chikwanda is the right person to steer the team out of its current position. He has been signed on a performance based contract.”
Chikwanda comes in after the sidelining of Linos Makwaza, Dabwitso Nkhoma and Harry Milanzi after a string of poor results.
In my opinion this is the coach Kabwe Warriors should have appointed on a permanent basis.
