Newly appointed Nakambala Leopards head coach Elijah Chikwanda has already gotten down to work in Mazabuka.
The ZamFoot Crew found the former Mighty Mufulira Wanderers boss in the thick of things during a Nakambala Leopards morning training session.
Chikwanda was appointed Nakambala Leopards boss yesterday taking over from Albert Mphande who was relieved of his duties following a poor run of results.
Mpande was in charge of Nakambala for 12 games but only managed two wins (Green Buffaloes and Mighty Mufulira Wanderers on the 28th of December 2019) losing seven times and drawing three games.
In the 12 games, Mphande only managed 9 points out of a possible 36 and Nakambala Leopards remains deep in relegation waters third from bottom with just 17 points after 24 rounds of matches.
Chikwanda’s first task will is a tricky fixture against Buildcon away in Ndola on Sunday, 8th March.
