Malawian international Chawananga Kaonga will join Zimbabwe Premier League (PSL) side CAPS United in January, the club has confirmed.
The former Silver Strikers’ current contract at ZANACO will expire on 31st December and has since penned a pre contract with CAPS United ahead of January when he will complete his switch.
Kaonga has been a key figure for the Seven Time Zambian Super League Champions but will now join Makepekepe in January having signed a pre contract with the Harare based outfit.
The ZamFoot Crew understands that Kaonga and ZANACO have failed to agree on a new deal as the terms offered were not satisfactory for Kaonga.
Makepekepe saw this as an opportunity and offered him a lucrative deal which will see him join them in January.
The Malawian international will work with former Chipolopolo midfielder Ian Bakala who is assistant coach at the club.
