ZESCO United have confirmed three contract extensions for youngsters Chanda Mukuka, Samson Mkandawire and John Chishimba.
Midfielder Chanda Mukuka has signed a three and half year deal keeping him at Levy Mwanawasa Stadium until June 2026.
“Chanda Mukuka has signed a new long-term contract with ZESCO United, keeping him at the club until at least June 2026 with an option to extend further.”
Mukuka who was initially lured from Gomes FC under a two-year loan deal has contributed significantly to the club’s success since joining ZESCO United in 2021.
The 22-year-old played a profound role in the club’s ninth league title success.
ZESCO United defender Samson Mkandawire has also secured a three- and half-year contract extension at the club.
A product of United youth system, Mkandawire has been one of the success stories to have emerged from the club’s developmental sides since breaking into the main team in 2021.
ZESCO United has further extended John Chishimba’s contract which will see the promising young defender at the club for three-and half-years.
Like Mkandawire, Chishimba is another homegrown player to have emerged from the ZESCO United youth system.
