ZESCO United will be without midfielder Chanda Mukuka, winger Bruce Musakanya and newly acquired striker Chitiya Mususu for this afternoon’s clash against Sensational Zanaco.
Musakanya is on the road to recovery but still yet to regain match fitness. Mukuka is out with an illness while Chitiya Mususu pulled his muscle in training on Tuesday.
Coach Numba Mumamba confirmed to the club’s official website that Musakanya will be available for selection next week.
“Bruce Musakanya has made a lot of progress however, we are currently working on his match fitness before he could return to league action. He is looking much better and we are hopeful that he will be ready for selection next week,” Mumamba said.
“It is a full house for us which means we will have a lot of players to select from. The boys are back from their international assignments in good shape. It is a good thing for us as we continue to shape up for Sunday’s important game,” he added.
Meanwhile, Sensational Zanaco has named a strong squad for this afternoon’s clash. Roger Kola has returned from injury while Moses Phiri is available after his stint with the Copper Bullets.
