Chambeshi returns…set to be unveiled at a new club in next 72 hours

Nkana legend Beston Chambeshi will be back in the MTN Super League very soon as head coach of a named club, the ZamFoot Crew can reveal. 

Chambeshi is set to be unveiled in the next 72 hours as a new head coach at Super League side. 

Chambeshi has been without a job since late August after being sent on administrative leave by his beloved Nkana following a string of poor results. 

Chambeshi was recently quoted saying he is ready to return to the helm of the Kitwe giants but he will be unveiled at a new club soon, the ZamFoot Crew understands. 

The 13 time Zambia Super League Champions sent Chambeshi on leave after they started the season on a very slow note losing their opening two matches. 

Chambeshi in 2017 led the Zambia U-20 National Team to a maiden AFCON title and went to reach the quarter finals of the World Cup later that year. 

Chambeshi was Chipolopolo caretaker coach between May 2018 and July 2018 before returning to the helm of the Chipolopolo between July 2021 and December 2022. 

The 63 year old has also previously coached Power Dynamos, Zambia U23 National Team, Kansanshi Dynamos among others.
