CHABULA NOT GOING ANYWHERE FOR TRIALS

Nkwazi forward Emmanuel Chabula will not be going to attend trials in South Africa contrary to social media reports linking him to a move to a named PSL side.

Sources close to Chabula have told the ZamFoot Crew that the player is reluctant to go to South Africa as he believes he beyond the level of doing trials at a PSL outfit.

“The player does not want to do trials because he believes he is passed that level and would rather stay and wait for a better deal, ” The source told the ZamFoot Crew.

“He remains a committed Nkwazi player for now and if anything changes the public will be made aware through proper channels, ” The sources added.

Chabula had an impressive 2019 transitional league season for Nkwazi earning himself a call up to the national team that went on to win the 2019 COSAFA Cup with Chabula scoring one goal.

The Nkwazi hitman scored a brace in a 2-2 draw against Eswatini in the final round of the 2020 CHAN tournament as the Copper Bullets booked their place at the tournament to be hosted by Cameroon thanks to a 3-2 aggregate win.

Chabula also netted a double as Zambia beat Namibia 2-0 to lift the Dr. Hage Geingob Invitational Cup.
