Morocco beat South Africa 2-0 in a Group B CAf U17 African Cup of Nations tie.
The young Atlas Lions scored both goals in the second half.
Earlier on in group B, Nigeria defeated Zambia 1-0.
Nigeria are second in the group while Morocco is top with Zambia third.
The Junior Chipolopolo will face South Africa next while Nigeria and Morocco will battle it out in the other match.
In Group A, host Algeria beat Somalia 2-0 on Saturday while Senegal marked their debut appearance with a 1-0 win over Congo Brazzaville
