CAF inspect new Green Eagles’ home ground

 

The Confederation of African Football CAF has successfully inspected Zambia’s CAF confederation representative Green Eagles FC’s home ground Choma’s Independence stadium.

CAF club licensing instructor Derek Blanksenee arrived in Choma on Monday evening where and commenced inspections of available hotels.

Derek had a tour of Leons Hotel and Kozo accompanied with Football Association of Zambia Club licensing officer Erick Mwanza.

The CAF licensing officer continued his inspection tour this morning with a tour of Choma General Hospital.

He later spent three hours of inspecting the Independence stadium,Checking on the dressing room, terraces and the entire secretariat.

Choma secondary and Adastra Primary schools ground was inspected as an alternative training ground for the competing teams.

FAZ licensing officer Erick Mwanza later announced to the media that the CAF official will not give any information to the media but directed all the media queries to the Football House according to CAF media policy.

If CAF approves the stadium for continental games ,Choma will be hosting a maiden CAF game on the 27 the of November,2018 as Zambia National service sponsored side Green Eagles will be hosting Young Buffalo FC of Eswatini(Swaziland).

  1. This is a great milestone. Should all go accordingly, it will not only be good for Zambian football but for the economic profile of Choma aswell
