Zambia’s envoys in the CAF Inter-clubs competitions were in action on Saturday with two progressing and one clashing out at this early stage.
Nkana strawed through to the next round of the Champions League despised an uninspiring performance that saw them play to a goalless draw at Nkana Stadium but progress 1-0 on aggregate.
Elsewhere Napsa Stars continued where they left off in the Comoros Islands as they hammered Ngazi FC 4-1. A goal each from Emmanuel Mayuka, Daniel Adoko, Jacob Ngulube, and Chanda Mushili was enough to make a statement with a 9-2 aggregate win.
It was however a different story in Gabon, Forest Rangers were handed a 2-0 defeat by AS Bouenguidi to clash out of the Champions League in their first campaign.
The Gabonese side qualifies for the next round where they will face TP Mazembe.
