Bwalya Namute Chileshe treble gives Zambia first leg lead 

Green Buffaloes WFC forward Bwalya Namute Chileshe scored a hat-trick as the Zambia U17 Women’s National Team beat Morocco 3-1 in the first leg. 

Namute put Zambia the lead 13 minutes into the first stanza with a close range finish after Morocco failed to clear the ball in the area. 

The Green Buffaloes WFC forward doubled the lead eleven minutes later with another close range finish. 

Azraf Kautar pulled one back for Morocco in the 37th minute. 

Morocco started pushing for the leveller in the second half but it was Zambia who found a third, Namute with her third of the match. 

The Copper Princesses with a healthy lead heading into the second leg.

The return leg will be played on 15th June 2024. Winner over both legs will qualify for the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup to be held in the Dominican Republic.
