Zambia national women’s team coach Charles Bwale has named teen goalkeeper Hazel Nali in the starting line-up for the open game of the CAF 2014 Africa Women’s Championship against the Brave Gladiators of Namibia.
Nali who starred for Zambia at the U17 World Cup earlier in the year is expected to keep a safe pair of hands in what will be a historic first game for Zambia at the Women’s championship.
Bwale has named a strong side which includes sprinter captain Kabange Mupopo who is fresh from represent Africa in a IAAF Athletics tournament.
Hellen Mubanga whose goals helped Zambia sail through to the finals is also in the starting line-up.
The game kicks off at 17:00hrs CAT.
