With the story of his exit from Southampton rife, Zambian international Emmanuel Mayuka has continued with his business at Staplewood and he completed a full training session with the first team yesterday.

Hi agent has also been in touch with the ZamFoot Crew and has refuted reports that the 24 year old 2012 Africa Cup of Nations winner is on his way out of Southampton FC.

  1. Ok me relief to an otherwise sad story…lets hope there is no truth to the story and further keep our fingers crossed he gets a run in the Villa game.

    • Ba TC, I like your positive spirit. Mayuka is a good player, probably the best disciplined player after Chamanga.

  2. john y should he leave.our players should show professionalism, discipline to become better players world over.and am sure mayuka getting better and better at Southampton.

  3. Lol! Ati Mayuka should just leave Southampton. As if it was neighbourhood football where you join and dump teams at will. Quitters never win and winners never quit.

  4. Mayuka is a big time baller. He’s the first guy to drive a Bentley continental in zambia. He’s a former African champion and southampton have not given him any respect better he just leaves that league. So may great players have left the EPL it’s just a waste of time

  5. @john who gives a damn if he’s the first to drive a Bently continental in Zambia? What has that got to do with football anyway? And how many former and current afcon champions are there? Dude if this is what you think Mayuka should be respected for then I’ll have to ask if you remembered to take your medication today. Even Mayuka himself would question your reasoning if he read your comments.

  6. I repeat myself. Southampton is just a waste of time. Most of you who want Mayuka to stay at Southampton are just selfish. That club has not given that boy a fair chance. Mayuka is capable of doing better in other leagues. And that nonsense of him failing at Sochaux must stop. Not even aguero can perform at a weak team like Sochaux.

  7. Kwena abena @John ati he is the first person to drive a what ever Bentley and that is reason enough for him to leave the Saints, you are so dry my friend.

  8. John is right mayuka need game time . He is our number one striker . Are you not the same who call him bench warmer?????? .

  9. @ tc soccerman . The issue of lubambo its not soothing to do wil individual decision . The young boy is surrounded with thugs who are after making money that’s why he is being sold like perishable goods. He has no saying about his career .

  10. Meanwhile Senegalese International,Mane scored the fastest hat trick in Premier league history(3 striking 3 times within 3 minutes!),not sure Mayuka had game time.Southampton won 6-1 against Aston Villa.Pelle and Long were also on the score sheet, with the Later scoring a brace.Good news for African Football!
