Buffaloes welcome Wanderers, BUSA in YASA test as Kabwe and North Western derbies come alive

The FAZ Women’s national League will enter week two of action this afternoon with some mouth watering encounters expected headlined by YASA Queens hosting BUSA. 

Nkwazi took an early lead in week one following a 5-0 win over Prison Leopards Queens and will look to maintain their good start. 

Zambia U-20 Women’s national team forward Enelesi Phiri scored a hat-trick to help Nkwazi to the emphatic win and will key as Police sponsored outfit make a trip to Ndola to face ZESCO Ndola Girls. 

Zegalicious thrashed Play It Forward Queens 3-0 but now face a tricky Nkwazi side that looks solid this season.

Red Arrows who edged Green Eagles 2-1 welcome ZISD Women who started their season with a home loss against Indeni Roses. 

Defending Champions, Green Buffaloes Women’s Football Club, the COSAFA Champions started their campaign with a 3-0 win over Zanaco Ladies away at Sunset Stadium. 

The Charles Haalubono coached outfit will now welcome Mufulira Wanderers Queens at the Green Square pitch in Arakan. 

Midfielder Regina Kayambona will face her former team for the first time since her switch to Lusaka. 

The female Computer, Ireen Lungu is expected to be key for Buffaloes alongside skipper Joana Benaya, Copper Queens defenders Lushomo Mweemba, Agness Musesa and Martha Tembo. 

Young striker Natasha Nanyangwe who missed the 3-0 win over Zanaco due to illness has recovered and is expected to lead the attack this afternoon. 

Police Dove Queens will welcome Trident Queens in a North Western derby while Indeni Roses will lock horns with Okay It Forward Queens. 

In Kabwe, a derby will take centre stage as Prison Leopards Queens host Queens Academy at President Stadium.
