Zambia National team Doctor, Dr. George Phiri has revealed that the Chipolopolo Boys are nursing some minor injuries. The two players nursing injuries are midfielder Bruce Musakanya as well as left-back Zachariah Chilongoshi.
Speaking to the Zamfoot Crew from Cameroon, Dr. Phiri said the team had done a Covid test and were still waiting for the results.
“We have just finished doing our Covid testing and this is in preparation for the quarter-final slated for Sunday as far we are very fine and expecting the results to come tomorrow,” he said
“On injuries, we only have two injuries Bruce Musakanya has a muscle and he is undergoing treatment and we expect him to be back in the next three days and the other one is Zachariah Chilongoshi who got a slight knock and we are working on him he should be ready for the next match the rest of the players are fit for selection,” he added.
Zambia faces the defending champions Morocco in the quarter-finals stage in Douala, Cameroon on Sunday.
