AmaZulu’s Zambian striker Bornwell Mwape is the latest recipient of the Player of the Month award after the 23-year-old marksman put on a convincing performance, including netting a brace last month.
The former Nchanga Rangers player scored in the 2-2 away league encounter against Polokwane City on 13 September, and also went on to give a good account of himself in the Usuthu frontline.
“I can’t say much except that I’m happy for the award the team has given me after a slow start. From now I’m going to be working harder to repay the faith shown on me,” said Mwape.
He received a cheque worth R2000 and a voucher for a night’s stay for two at Suncoast Hotel Towers.

Again Janza omitted Bornwell Mwape, why why why? Janza is useless should he loss?
Bornwell is 23?lol
Its like that number 9 for bottom placed Roan united becomes player of the month at Roan united and you start calling for his inclusion in the national team. Be careful here people because tomorrow you will call for the inclusion of Mbesuma or Clifford Mulenga when they score a goal in as many games as you can count. Mr Janza, please look for consistency, speed and accuracy in the number 9’s you bring to the national team, not players who play in slow motion, like that number 9 you used in the first half of the Niger game. Good luck in Wednesdays game, cause luck is what we need now.
good observation.
Congrats Bornwell and continue improving though your time for Chipolopolo hasn’t arrived yet…
Congrats mwape,u ll mek it one day!
Bornwell had a slow start at Amazulu but he has slowly picked up. Keep it up.
Good luck

Well done young man continue working hard for your future and don’t aim impressing anyone like Janza or his fellow from Holland. Just continue working hard for your money, we are proud to see our flourishing in the diaspora. viva sekela boy ba chingola
