Power Dynamos on Sunday afternoon settled for a goalless draw against Napsa for them to stay in second position and hand the advantage to Zesco United who took charge of the log leadership after trouncing Nkana FC 3 – 0 yesterday.
The log is very tight at the top with Zesco leading on 55 points while Power are in second position on 54 points.
Zanaco trail Power by a point with only three games to play.
In Choma, Green Eagles went down 2 – 1 at to home National Assembly. U20 midfielder Spencer Sautu gave the home team a false start and before Kaimana equalized for Assembly.
Eagles could have gone up after they were awarded a penalty but goalkeeper Satchmo Chakawa had his spot kick saved by Richard Mwanza in the Assembly goal.
Assembly then wrapped up the tie from a set piece to carry the day and join Eagles on 33 points.
Kabwe Warriors drew 1 – 1 at Sunset Stadium against Konkola Mine Police. A Josephat Kasusu 46th minute effort was cancelled out late in the game as the Kabwe side dropped to 11th on the log after slipping to a third consecutive draw.
