Betting Company, Bolabet, and legendary Zambian club Mighty Mufulira Wanderers have signed a 3-year deal worth $75,000 and could rise to over $100, 000 with incentives should Mighty reach agreed milestones.
The deal that was unveiled at a colorful event at Shinde Stadium, will see Bolabet appear on the back of the Mufulira Wanderers jersey and replicas.
BOLABET and MUFULIRA WANDERERS have today announced entering into a three-year sponsorship agreement.
The deal sees Bolabet becoming Mighty’s Official Sports Betting Partner. Bolabet will visible on the back of the kit and replicas. The deal is highly incentivized, valued at $75,000, and could reach over $100,000 should Mighty reach agreed milestones.
Bolabet General Manager Justin Palmer revealed that the deal was quickly done as both parties saw an opportunity to grow together.
“When we sat down as a group at Bolabet to think about getting involved with Zambian football, we started from the beginning, and when you start at the beginning you start at Shinde Stadium. If you look at trophies won in history, no one has won more than Mufulira Wanderers (49),” he said.
“When we look at the partnership at hand the first thing we synergy with is the history which can’t be matched, it is huge, The support also can’t be matched. We wrapped up the deal within hours because we both saw the opportunity at hand.”
“We want to be part of the journey, The initial guaranteed is $75,000 over three years, and there are incentives if there is promotion, winning titles, CAF qualification it can be expanded to reach over $100,000 and that’s just a starting point and the commitment we are showing to Mufulira,” he added.
Mufulira Wanderers General Secretary Mumba Mwila reassured Bolabet that they made a good decision to partner with the greatest club in Zambia’s history.
“I feel so proud that Bolabet hid to our proposal of partnering with this great Zambian club, the most decorated club,” Mwila said.
“Bolabet, This is the best footballing decision that you are ever going to make as you have partnered with the greatest club in Zambian history. With you on board, we have an opportunity to add to this rich history, We are sitting at 49 honors and struggling to get to 50 now imagine us lifting that converted trophy with Bolabet, It will be history in the making.”
The Mayor of Mufulira Tanaeli Kamanga, Mufulira Central Member of Parliament, Golden Mwila, and several Mopani Copper Mines PLC officials were part of the invited guests for this historic event.
