Former Zambia coach Bestone ‘ Quicksilver’ Chambeshi has said Aljosa Asanovic has a different philosophy to his.
The two men worked together during the Qatar 2022 World Cup Qualifiers as Zambia again missed out on a major tournament.
Asanovic, who signed a 4 year deal as Chipolopolo coach, was Chambeshi’s Technical Advisor for close to 4 months.
“Yes we worked with him but we differ in our philosophy, so I can just wish him the best,” Chambeshi said
The Zambian legend, who represented the country at the 1988 Seoul Olympics and 1990 African Cup of Nations also said Zambia already has a team and there’s no need for rebuilding.

“We have gone through a lot of building which is not healthy for the national team. This time it is a matter of cementing the team and bringing results,” he has been quoted by the Zambia Daily Mail.
“I have said in the past, this is not the time to build, it is now time to cement and see that the team is intact.
“I left a well-assembled side, very good players, players who can bring glory to the national team but it will depend on the gentleman who is coming.
Chambeshi urged Asanovic to have the zeal and improve the Chipolopolo players
“I hope he has the zeal to push the boys and maintain [improve] Zambia’s status. We have come from a bad patch where we have failed to qualify for three AFCON tournaments so we do not want to see excuses.

What kind of nonsense is this? No you did not leave a good team sir. You failed and failed very hard. Not that I blame you because you took over from Micho at the very last minute. I do hope Asanovic has a different philosophy because yours failed. You also refused to call arguably the best center back this country has ever produced in Stophilla Sunzu.
Mmmm FAZ u must have see people that have worked for u how they talk! Lol awe sure failing had to accept

Chambeshi’ tone does not sound supportive
