Benin’s U17 Women’s National Team has arrived in Zambia ahead of Saturday’s FIFA U17 Women’s World Cup Third Round, First Leg qualifier against the Copper Princesses at Levy Mwanawasa Stadium in Ndola.
The first batch of 20 players and officials touched down at Simon Mwansa Kapwepwe International Airport at 12h35 this (Wednesday) afternoon.
A second batch of 23 team members is expected to arrive on Thursday around the same time.
Tickets for Saturday’s match are already on sale in all Shoprite stores countrywide via CompuTicket, with prices going for as low as K10.
The second leg of this two-legged encounter will be played a week later, with the aggregate winner advancing to the FIFA U17 Women’s World Cup to be held in Morocco later this year.
