Zambia National team winger Augustine ‘Diego’ Mulenga says he is looking forward to a great game against Algeria on Thursday night considering that the last time these two sides met the chipolopolo boys lost away in Algeria.
Zambia host the Desert Foxes on Thursday in a must-win 2021 Cameroon AFCON qualifier at the National Heroes Stadium.
“I am to look back, the first game we played them we lost and am sure this time we are at home, The guys in the camp are looking forward to collecting maximum points because this is a must-win game,” he said.
Mulenga who has so far scored 4 goals with 6 assists to his name in the ABSA premiership is confident that his current top form will add value in assisting the team for glory.
” I have been working so hard that even the time I was not playing at Pirates, even this time I have been working very hard and am sure the working hard has paid off for me because am having a good time and am always pushing for greater things that side [Amazulu] and as am coming here am sure I will have the same spirit so that we deliver on Thursday and looking forward on next game on Monday”, he added.
The 2017 Zambia Super League footballer of the year went ahead to encourage young lads in the squad to keep working hard because football is just the same what differs is just the level.
The chipolopolo boys lock horns with the desert foxes of Algeria on Thursday at the National Heroes Stadium in Lusaka with kick-off set at 21:00 CAT.
