Augustine Mulenga, Amazulu part ways

Zambian winger Augustine Mulenga is among the eight players who have left Betway Premiership side Amazulu according to reports in South Africa.

Amazulu decided against renewing Mulenga’s contract alongside seven others ahead of the 2025/2026 season.

The well-travelled Zambian forward rejoined Usuthu in January 2024 for a second stint with the club.

Mulenga, 35, was one of the players who played a key role when Usuthu finished second in the DStv Premiership under Benni McCarthy during the 2020/21 season.

Others released are former Kaizer Chiefs and Mamelodi Sundowns defender, Ramahlwe Mphahlele, goalkeeper Veli Mothwa and former Golden Arrows defender Wayde Jooste.
