Sensational Zanaco coach Chris Kaunda believes attitude will play a key role in his team’s success in tomorrow’s Lusaka Derby as Zanaco play host to Napsa stars at Nkoloma stadium in a lunchtime kickoff.
After the team’s 1-0 loss to Buildcon, Coach Chris Kaunda did not spare his players saying they lacked attitude and underrated Buildcon football club.
Speaking to the ZamFoot Crew ahead of the local derby Kaunda feels the attitude of his players will be very key tomorrow in deciding who wins the game.
“Well all the games are the same and there is nothing like being difficult all the games are the same and it depends on the attitude of the players, how they take the match, it’s not about Napsa, it’s not about Zanaco, its attitude of the players that’s how this game will be won. It’s just through the attitude of the players not with the tactical approach or whatever but attitude of the players,” Kaunda said.
The match was initially scheduled to take place at Sunset Stadium but due to the heavy rains and poor drainage at Sunset, the match will now take place at Nkoloma.
Kaunda does not believe it will be a big factor tomorrow as his team aims to return to winning ways.
“Maybe yes maybe not, we have played games like in continental, we were playing big clubs we were not affected its the mindset, the mindset will take sunset into nkoloma then there is no chance it’s the same game,” he said.
“Yesterday we had recovery and of course we have been playing football in rains so we needed the players to rest and do some recoveries from few things there are suffering from.”
“Of course we can’t say the team is very clean we have some knocks we hope the doctors do their job and the players will come to the party and play,” he added.
Sensational Zanaco and Napsa Stars will square off with Napsa at Nkoloma stadium at 13hrs on Wednesday 9th December 2020.
Napsa Stars have enjoyed dominance in this game beating the Bankers in all their last three games and last lost to Zanaco in 2016.
