Arrows stun Zesco as Kansanshi hold Zanaco

Champions Zesco United suffered their fifth defeat of the season after a 2-1 loss to Red Arrows on Wednesday.

A goal from in form striker Ricky Banda and an own goal from Zimbabwe midfielder Thabani Kamusoko in the first half propelled the airmen to third position on the log.

Midfielder Kelvin Mubanga Kampamba scored a consolation goal for the Ndola giants.

Arrows have now recorded 5 wins row.

Arrows are now[26 points] four points behind leaders Green Buffaloes while Zesco United drop to 5th on 24 points.

Joining Arrows in the top four are Buffaloes, Eagles and Nkana.

In North Western, Kansanshi Dynamos and Zanaco shared spoils with Moses Phiri grabbing a goal for the bankers.

Kansanshi and Zanaco now have 20 and 18 points respectively.
