Red Arrows came back from a goal down to beat ten man Power Dynamos and continue their recent dominance over the Kitwe giants.
The MTN Super League defending Champions, Power Dynamos welcomed Red Arrows in a rescheduled week one encounter at Arthur Davies Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
The hosts took the lead just 12 minutes into the match as Jackson Mulambia provided the opener with a sublime finish.The hosts went to the break with a comfortable 1-0 lead.
However just two minutes into the second half Power Dynamos were reduced to ten men after Aaron Katebe was shown a straight red card for denying a goal scoring opportunity on the edge of the box.
Albert Kangwanda stepped up for the resulting free kick and unleashed a powerful strike into the top left corner leaving Willard Mwanza in the Power Dynamos goal with no chance, 1-1.
The goal was Kangwanda’s third in as many games, scoring against FC MUZA and Kansanshi Dynamos prior to today.
The Airmen with the numerical advantage now started to push Abayellow and it paid off in the 85th minute as Chilimina took time and slotted home with a low shot after being set by Joseph Phiri to put the Airmen in the lead.
The win takes Red Arrows to second place with 14 points, just a point away from log leaders ZANACO despite having played a game less.
