Red Arrows’ striker Ricky Banda has won the 2021/2022 Super League Golden Boot award.
The on loan Jumulo centre forward banged in 16 league goals to claim the top scorers’ award.
Banda, who is expected to be called to the national team scored 17 goals in all competitions.
The 21 year old striker scored two more goals than second placed duo Moses Phiri and Friday Samu, who trekked to the South Africa in the January transfer window.
Zanaco’s Phiri failed to make it two successive Golden Boot awards following his 17 goals last season.
Despite Kafue Celtic being demoted, Albert Kangwanda scored 12 goals while veteran winger Clifford Mulenga rolled back the years with 11 goals for Forest Rangers.
Former Zambia Under-20 star striker Conlyde Luchanga, now at Prison Leopards finished the season with 10 goals and 7 assists.
Green Eagles midfielder Hosea Silwimba also grabbed 10 goals.
