Winstone Kalengo on Wednesday afternoon scored twice to help AC Leopards cruise to a 4 – 0 win over bottom placed Pigeon Vert in the Congo Ligue 1.
With Leopards under pressure to make ground on log leaders CARA Brazaville, Kalengo did not waste to to register his name twice on the score-sheet with Mfoutou and Ankira Dua scoring a goal each.
Kalengo who was top scorer in the Zambian league last season has carried his good goal scoring form to the Congolese league hitting his third brace of the season.
He stands high on the top scorers chart with 8 goals scored this season.
With Zambia gearing up for two back to back Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Congo Brazaville next month on the 23rd and 27th of March, Kalengo will be key in leading the Chipolopolo assault in against the country his is playing in.

In Congo/Kinshasa there was no goal scored in the Lubumbashi derby between TP and Lupopo. Nonetheless, TP still finished top of its pool, so qualifying along with 7 other teams (Lupopo included) countrywide for play-offs. Singuluma, Kalaba and Chongo played the entire match.
