Power Dynamos have re-signed striker Andy Boyeli as a free agent, marking the Congolese forward’s return to the club where he enjoyed a prolific spell.
Boyeli returns to Power after leaving South African side Sekhukhune United, where he joined in 2024 from the Kitwe-based club.
The striker moved to Tanzania in 2025, joining Young Africans on loan, but struggled to reproduce the form that made him one of the leading forwards in the MTN Super League.
Boyeli made his name at Power Dynamos during the 2022/23 season, scoring 18 league goals to finish as the MTN Super League’s top scorer.
His performances also earned him the MTN Super League Player of the Year award at the MTN Awards gala, held at Garden Court in Kitwe on 9 June 2023.
He followed that campaign with eight league goals in the 2023/24 season before leaving for Sekhukhune United.
Power Dynamos have now welcomed the striker back as they prepare for the new campaign, with the club describing his return as a homecoming.
“Back where he belongs,” Power Dynamos said in announcing Boyeli’s return.
The move gives Boyeli an opportunity to rediscover the form that previously made him one of Zambia’s most prolific strikers and helped Power Dynamos challenge for domestic honours.
