Am not sure but I think the second goal was an off side

Al Hilal Omdurman coach Irad Zafouri felt Nkanas second goal was scored from an off side position. Zafouri however admitted that his team did not also play well on the day.

The Al Hilal boss also partly put the blame on the pitch for his teams loss. Zafouri felt the state of the pitch did not allow his team to play their passing game.

“Today we did not play well. If we played well we would have won.The second am not sure but I think it was an off side,” he said.

“The state of the pitch yes played a big part. As Al Hilal we play good short passing football and today we could not do that because of the pitch,” he added.

When asked about the difference between Nkana and Ghanaian side Asante Kotoko in terms of their playing style, Zafouri said it was not very different as African teams play similar kind of football.

“In Africa we have the same kind of football, Physical and Technical . There is no big difference between Nkana and Asante Kotoko, That’s just how African football is, ” he said.

Nkana came from a goal down to beat Al Hilal 2-1 thanks to a goal in each half from Fred Tshimenga and Captain Walter Bwalya. Next up for Nkana is a Asante Kotoko as Al Hilal and Zesco United square off.
