Al Ahly coach Martin Jol has named the 23 man squad that will play Zesco United in the first game of the CAF champions league group stage on Saturday at Levy Mwanawasa stadium.
Like their opponents who are missing three key players in Idriss Mbombo (injury), Jesse Were and Ben Bahn (both suspensions), the Egyptian giants have traveled without three key players; Abdallah El-Said, Malick Evouna and Amr Gamal who miss out due to injuries.
Ahly had their final training session in Egypt this afternoon before they flew out to Ndola on a private jet on Thursday evening.
They are expected in Ndola on Friday morning.
