Adingra leads Ivory Coast squad as Amad misses out 

Ivory Coast national team coach Emerse Fae has named his 25-man squad ahead of the final 2025 AFCON qualifiers against Zambia and Chad.

Brighton and Hove Albion winger Simon Adingra leads the squad named for next Friday’s encounter. 

Former Barcelona midfielder Frankie Kessie , Nicolas Pepe, Diakite Oumar and Jean Philippe Krasso have all made the cut.

Surprisingly Manchester United’s Amad Diallo who scored a brace in the UEFA Europa League yesterday misses out.

👉Vakoun Bayo (Watford 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿) hasn’t been called up since 2018 and after putting 4 past Sheffield Wednesday recently, he’s in.

👉Ousmane Diomande (Sporting 🇵🇹) was injured last month, he’s back. Sinaly Diomandé (Auxerre 🇫🇷) was last called up in 2022. Jean Aholou (Angers 🇫🇷) returns (2023) as well as Amani (Union SG 🇧🇪).

👉Adingra (Brighton 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿) missed October. Boga was last in for June WCQ’s.

The reigning champions will face Zambia on November 15, in Ndola before battling Chad in Abidjan on November 19.

Zambia are in second spot with seven points two behind the Elephants, Ivory Coast who lead the group with nine points.  

Sierra Leone is in third place with four points while Chad lies bottom with two points.

Tickets have since gone on sale with the South and North wings  pegged at K50 while the East wing tickets are going at K60.  West wing tickets are selling for K150 while VIP tickets have been pegged at K600.
