Zambian midfielder Emmanuel Banda put in a 63 minute shift to help his team Djurgådens IF to progress to the semifinals of the Swedish Cup.
Djurgådens qualified to the semifinals of the Svenska Cupen following a 2-0 win over Kalmar FF away at the Guldfågeln Arena.
The former Nchanga Rangers player was named in the starting line up in a midfield trio alongside Hampus Finndell, and Rasmus Schüller.
After dominating the opening half hour, Djurgådens finally broke the deadlock in the 31st minute thanks to Haris Radetinac who headed in a Piotr Johansson cross to put the visitors in the lead.
Stockholms stolthet doubled the lead five minutes later as Piotr Johansson this time around turned finisher scoring off a Victor Edvardsen assist.

With 44 minutes played, The Zambian international had a fantastic opportunity to increase the lead but his shot flew harmlessly into the side-netting of the goal.
Banda came close again at the start of the second half but again was unlucky. Banda was withdrawn for Joel Asoro in the 63rd minute.
Djurgådens held on to win 2-0 to seal a semifinal slot. They will be at home in the semifinals against the winner of Monday’s match between Malmö FF and AIK.
